No, more likely that the sour taste in your mouth is related to the frantic Wall Street rationalizations and revisionist redactions as the equity analysts covering Apple's business try to figure out how they underestimated iPhone 5c/5s launch sales predictions so drastically. Despite the fact that Apple hasn't changed its sales recognition rules since last year's iPhone 5 launch, somehow nine million phones sold this time around has to be less impressive than you'd think. Because math! Well, at least the stock's holding up. What's that? Oh.
