You’re probably already well-versed in perusing your browsing history, but CottonTracks for Chrome and Opera delivers a slightly different experience on this front.
Once you’ve installed the extension in your browser, anything you search for on the Web will be aggregated automatically, with ‘stories’ created of your favorite content. You simply hit the little ‘C’ button in your toolbar, and you’ll be presented with a list of your search history that’s relevant to the content you’re currently consuming.
So, if you want to revisit some information you’ve previously read or browsed online that’s based on the same topic that you’re watching in a video, you click the ‘C’ button, and you’ll be served with a snapshot of stories you’ve come across over the years. It also lets you highlight text in an article, and CottonTracks will remember it as a quote.
